Mentoring

“I think our son grew a lot and worked through some insecurities with your and Michael’s help. His teachers said he seems more confident this year.”

—Mother of a 7-year-old boy

What if, when you were a child, a teacher wrote you your own song to sing? As a solo. In front of the whole school. So you could lead, even though you were shy.

Ours did.

What if, when you were a child, a coach guided you beyond your father’s death? Inspired you stay in school. Made you fight for the team.

Ours did.

Because of the mentors who shaped us, combined with our extensive teaching background, we offer your family quality customized coaching, in one-on-one sessions or group experiences.

One-on-One Coaching Sessions:

Customized Life Coaching and Mentoring for young people and families who would like to grow in specific areas of their lives. We begin with a consultation with parents to discuss needs and brainstorm possibilities. Most children work with us for 30 minutes each visit for a series of sessions that we design with parents’ input. After six sessions, we check in with parents to plan next steps together.

Topics have included:

  • Sports, Arts, Writing skills
  • Leadership
  • Speaking Up
  • Communicating with Clarity and Kindness
  • Harnessing Physical Energy

FAQ’s:

  • When do you meet with children? On selected days after school & weekends. For homeschoolers, we do have some morning slots available during the day.
  • What have other parents requested of you? Help with teaching personal responsibility, sports skills improvement, core strengthening, meditation & self-calming techniques, building self-confidence & skills through art, writing and technology…Just ask and we’ll tell you if it’s in our range of expertise. If not, we’ll suggest other professionals.

Customized Group Sessions available.
