Kristi Beall-Zumpano

Born in San Antonio, Texas, Kristi lived in Valencia, Spain and Caracas, Venezuela as a teenager. She earned a Journalism degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Alternative Teacher Certification with Region XIII. Kristi is certified to teach yoga through IKYTA and the Radiant Child Program.

A seasoned bilingual teacher, she won the 2002 HEB Excellence in Teaching Award. Experience beyond teaching includes managing an after school program, planning special events and creating the Super Career Cats Summer Camp.

She teaches writing and art to students and teachers of all ages for Austin ISD, private schools, the New Jersey Writing Project in Texas and Gemini Ink of San Antonio.

Kristi is also certified in CPR and First Aid.
